Choral Concert in the Castle
Performed by
‘Vokalensemble Voskresenije’
under the direction of Jurij Maruk
Vokalensemble Voskresenije’ (meaning ‘Resurrection’) is a small choir, consisting of 9 professional male and female vocalists. All of them have studied at the Conservatory of St Petersburg, Russia. The Choir was founded in 1993 and has toured Europe extensively in the last few years. The repertoire of the Choir includes Russian sacred music and folkloristic music.
Last year, the Choir visited Culzean Castle whilst they were in the local area and gave an impromptu performance on the Oval Staircase - from the reaction of the Visitors who experienced their performance last year, we're sure this is a concert not to be missed!
The Concert will begin at 5.30pm (doors open at 5.00pm)
Tickets are priced at £12.00 each (or £8.00 each for Concessions) and are available in advance >ONLINE< or by sending a SAE and cheque (payable to ‘the NTS’) to :
